I was syncing my iPhone 3G and I dont know what happened and the startup screen was just there frozen. I can restart it and turn it off but then it gets stuck at the startup screen. What should I do?

Do a full restore. If that doesnt fix it, return it for a new one.

My computer isn't recognizing my iPhone

DId a quick search. U can try this. hold the power button and home button at the same time while u power it down... keep holding.. then it will turn back on and there will be the apple logo... let go of power button and keep holding home button. then u should be able to connect it and restore.

hold the home button and the sleep button together until the phone turns off then let go of the sleep button while continuing to hold the home button... All the while you should be USB plugged into iTunes... After about 25 secs after letting go of the sleep button, iTunes will see the phone and start it's update process.

Ok, I did that, it is restoring right now. But I just remembered that I had quite a lot of pic's that I took today and never imported them. Are they just gone? What can I do?
