Hello

I will be getting Iphone 3GS in this December either 16th or 32GB. im thinking which one i should get because i'll have 18month contract which means ill be finishing this contract in June 2011. and i would get a new iphone as soon as i finish 18 month contract which probably in time for release of new iphone generation.

For these 18 month period, do you think 16GB would be enough? deos apps take alot spaces? i mean, i know it really depends on how im gonna use my iphone but any thought or suggestion would be great!:) .

P.S: i'm currently using 80GB 4th generation Ipod which i have used 60GB of it. im not gonna put all music in my iphone but will select some.

Thanks!!!

I always suggest the phone with the most space available. 32 gigs is a lot of space, I have the 16 gig and have yet to come close to filling it up. I finds that I only put what I have to have on my phone, the most enjoyable apps that I have come across, about a gig in pictures, and another 4 gigs in music. I think in total I have 2 gigs worth of apps but I think that is in total and not what's on my phone. I have around 200 apps so that gives you an idea of app size. Of course video takes up space. I will be grabbing the 32 gig and handing over my 16 gig to the mrs.

You don't say what country you're in ("18 month" contract makes me think it's not the US), but the following argument makes sense in any country. The $100 (US) difference between the 16GB and 32GB is just slightly more than one month's fee, so it's negligible extra cost over the life of the contract.

thanks for all your comments !
im from uk so 18 month contract (the one i will be getting),in addition to monthly charges, i have to pay 184 british pound for 16GB handset and 275pound for 32GB. which i think quite a lot.

I wish they could put the price down more...

just to add for above, the 90 GBP difference between the 16GB and 32GB is about 3 month's fee!
