iphone 3gs 3.1.3 to 4.0 jailbreak

sup all... this is probably asked a million times here and is probably answered but the ones i've seem to have found is from like a few months old.. and alot prob would of changed..so i've decided to make a thread straight up.

...is iphone 3gs 3.1.3 (jailbroken with spirit) jailbreakable if i updated to 4.0? ..i have model MC131X ..modem firmware 05.12.01
unlock doesn't matter for me.

if it's available... can someone link me up.

The 3GS with 4.0 and 4.1 can be jailbroken through jailbreakme.com
With this jailbreak you just navigate to the web site and it is done from there.
If you want to maintain your current jailbreak you will have to read further as I am unsure how to do that

Hey I have the same iphone setup and was thinking about updating to the newest iOS too. Did you already update yours? If so, how did you do it? I'm a newb at this. Thanks.
