iPhone 3GS and T mobile's $5.99 unlimited EDGE data plan

I current have unlocked iPhone 2G with tmobile as my carrier.

I love having tmobile's $5.99 data plan because though it might be slow, it still provides me with enough internet goodness I need to get through the day..


So my question is...when I buy iPhone 3gs and unlock/jailbreak it....and put my current SIM in it...will tmobile's EDGE data plan still work???

It should but I think you would need to change the phone's apn.
