take your thumb and slide it all the way from the center of your iphone's screen to the edge...when you reach the silver trim edging does your finger rub up against the casing...?

on the left side it is smooth all the way to the edge but on the right side your finger gets caught up and rubs on the sharp edge...it's almost as if the casing is off and higher on the right side than the left...

anyone else notice this? I even checked other models in the Apple Store today and noticed the same on ALL of them...is it supposed to be like this or did my store just get a faulty batch of iPhone 3GS's?

Thanks!

weird...must mean mine is just built incorrectly...all the sample ones in the store were the same too...maybe they just got a bad batch haha

think they'd replace mine for something as minimal as this?

Also...is anyone's vibrate/ring knob loose when they set it to vibrate? like...it wiggles around?

Not sure about the screen issue but I think they should replace the phone because of the vibrate switch being wobbly, loose or whatever.

it shouldn't be that way? it's only when I turn the switch down to vibrate...it's not REALLY bad...but if you shake the phone enough you can hear it wobbling around and such...it feels loose and like it's going to fall off when you touch it at times too...

I didn't notice it until now! so yeah the right side seems a little raised i wonder if this is enough to get a new 3gs? i also founf a tiny scratch in the middle of the screen so more of a reason to get a fresh new phone...

my vibrate switch is really snug when "set at normal" but when it's on vibrate it's a bit loose, but not enough to make a sound when shaking the phone!

Weird how the screen is like that huh? Yea I was thinking of maybe taking mine in and asking about the screen being lower on one side in addition to my loose vibrate/ring button...may reconsider though to keep them from rejecting me and laughing at my attention to small detail...

think these two issues I'm noticing (loose vibrate/ring knob and funky screen leveling) are worth my time to go into the Apple Store in town and see if I can get a new one?

Would they just turn me away?
