Iphone 3GS doesn't boot :(

Hi,

I'm currently on holidays (far from my private computer). I have activated something in cydia which appears to have bricked my phone 3GS. After sprinboard reboot the iphone had black screen for 10min so i forced reboot holding power & home buttong.
Now iphone, boots, shows apple and then black screen, waiting some time will make the iphone reboot again...
I assume i need to restore or dfu? Rejailbreak etc.... Is this correct?
As i have no access to my home computer with itunes. Is there any risk to use another computer? Will i lose all my applications etc.... (i have everything saved in itunes on my home computer).
Do you recommend me to wait and restore in one week on my home computer?
Please advise how to best make my phone usable again.

Yes, you have to restore. I had this happen yesterday after installing something and then the phone went into safe mode. Rebooting the phone went into the same Apple logo and rebooting cycle that you have.

When in doubt, restore!

Just put the device into DFU Mode, or Recovery Mode, and do a restore in iTunes.
