I was wondering weather the features available on the 3gs - such as voice command, combined video/camera and editing will be merged in for the 3g.

I do not know how to program but surely there is a way that the features the phone is capable off will be transferable. Is it as simple as copying code?

Anyway I dont know but i wondered if someone more clued up on developing and jailbreaking would know.

Thanks

I assume we'll see ports of iPhone 3GS apps, such as the recorder sometime in the future, not officially of course. We've got cycorder, so there's nothing really stopping it being ported, apart from the camera not being as good.

It's early days, it might happen, it might not. I'm happy with cycorder for now.

i had jail broke my 3g but didnt really use suff like copy and paste, search, and cycorder because the lack of integration. I think it would be great if these features could seamlessly roll in with the rest of the features.

You have to remenber that video editing/recording and voice comand will work much better on the 3GS because of the faster processor, it might freeze the normal 3G on video editing........the 3G lacks of speed and ram for application like this, cycorder works ok but if you have tons of apps like me you will see that sometimes freezes
