iPhone 3Gs fw = 3.0.1 / itune 9 needs jailbreaking

hi
I have jailbroken my iphone first then restore back to 3.0.1 (before 3.1 was launched).
Now i am wondering if its possible to jailbreak my phone again on iTunes 9..??

and what if the jailbreak is unsucessfull then restoring will restore me to 3.1 which is unlocable... if that happens then can i restore back to 3.0.1 ??
