Hi

This has happened a few times...

Launch song and start listening, headphones plugged in and set the volume using the side control, the volume starts to jump back and forth without any intervention I can see it happening on the volume indicator.

Have reset the phone, it still persists!

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi, I have several questions:

  • What headphones do you use?
  • Can you play a song on loudspeaker without it doing it?

I do know that the iPod/iPhone remembers volume settings for headphones / loudspeaker, so you can set loudspeaker volume by adjusting the volume without headphones plugged in, and then plug headphones in and adjust the headphone volume, if you unplug your headphones it should revert back to the loudspeaker volume. My point being, if your headphones are damaged / not in all the way / something else wrong in the audio jack, it might be detecting the change to and from loudspeaker / headphones, just a thought.

Kind Regards
