Hi, I'm kinda stuck in this vicious circle, my phone was jailbroken semi untethered
with redsnow, the 6.1.3 jailbreak, the power button stopped working AND the phone shut off, meaning that jailbreak is now gone but still shows its mark on the phone, i wanted to jailbreak with p0sixpwn BUT it says the phone is already jailbroken, so i thought, hey, Ill rejailbreak with redsnow and then use p0sixpwn from cydia, BUT I cant enter DFU mode without powerbutton, so I tried the enter_dfu ipsw and restore through iTunes, but I get the 3149 error, I suppose that's because it was previously jailbroken. so....

What should I do?

You need SHSH blobs to restore to 6.1.3

could you explain what to do like i'm five?
I don't really want to restore, I just want to get to DFU mode so i can boot with redsnow and then jailbreak fully through cydia.

download tinyumbrella (for your OS): http://blog.firmwareumbrella.com/
note: you need java installed

run the program and plug in your iphone

it'll give you a list of information including the ECID (Dec). PM me that and i'll check if it's possible for you to restore to 6.1.3

on a side note, if you're able to enter DFU mode via the DFU ipsw, why do you need to restore? wouldn't that be sufficient for you to use the "just boot" in redsn0w?
