Hey guys,

I just bought an Iphone 3gs off of Craigslist and jailbroke it with redsn0w 0.9.15b1. I put my T Mobile sim card in and it keeps saying either "No Service" or "Searching...". I've been trying all sorts of tricks that I found on youtube, other forums, etc. but none of them have worked so far. I didnt think it was unlocked but I did a network check online and they said that it was already unlocked. Do I take it in to T Mobile and ask them whats up?

Here's some more info about my phone: It has iOS 6.1.3 and the baseband is 6.15.00. It was made in the 38th week of 2009.

Thanks guys!

downgrade the baseband of the iphone using redsn0w. download the 6.0 firmware and point redsn0w to that firmware. select jailbreak and then check the box that says downgrade ipad baseband

if you do not want your device to be jailbroken, you can restore immediately after seeing the baseband has been downgraded

however, if the 3gs you have is the newer bootrom one, the flashing of the ipad baseband may have made it useless.

follow the guide from this link to see if your 3gs is the newer or older bootrom: http://www.redmondpie.com/how-to-check-iphone-3gs-bootrom-iboot-version/
