So I've had my iPhone for about 2 months now. And this past Friday I pulled out the phone, and it gave me a "No SIM card" error message. I restarted the phone and that message went away - everything worked fine - UNTIL just yesterday I was driving home, pulled it out of my pocket and that message was back. Stopped by the ATT store, the guy restarted the phone, no luck. Then he pulled out the SIM card, put it back in, and It worked again. So today it was fine all morning, then at lunch, got the error message again. Restarted the phone and it worked. Feel like it's going to happen again. Any input from anyone please?!

You might just need to get a new sim card or the there's some dirt inside where it plugs in.

Have the AT&T store replace the SIM with a new one.

Do they charge anything for that? I'm new to ATT & also the idea of a SIM card, too. The guy at the store told me to call 1 800 myiphon and get a new phone if it continues?

its more than likely the SIM.

Go to an ATT Corporate owned store. And they will just give you a new SIM.

Authorized agents will charge you for a new SIM
