I am having trouble with apple.

I called to get a new iPhone 3g under the warranty exchange.

I have had several issues with the battery and now the one they sent me looks like it has been run over by a truck.

Long story short - They promised me a new iPhone 3gs but they dont have any part numbers?

Can anyone explain this to me and why a week after launch apple customer care would not have part numbers? Also maybe give me part numbers so I can tell them and they have them :D

Thanks soo much!!

Did you call AppleCare specifically? They've never even asked me for part numbers. They just asked for my serial number and then knew exactly what I had.

Why not go to the Apple Store and get your replacement right there?

Yes I did call apple care. Apple care told me I cant go in if I want the 3gs.

Plus its over 2 hours to the closest apple store :(
