Ok so here is the deal I traded for this phone. It was DEAD I charged it up. Then it kept with the SWOD, and I have restored it about 15+ times both in DFU and Recovery so far it loaded up 1 time but then froze after I turned it off and started SWOD again, haven't been able to get it to even load since. So I have come to the conclusion that it has the iPad baseband and it being updated threw it to SWOD and now I need help I can usually figure most of these things out, but this time I am stumped. As the phone is completely recognized by itunes in normal mode DFU and Recovery mode the phone acts fine it just wont seem to load up the springboard. Anyone know of this problem or how to fix it. any and all help much appreciated!

It sounds to me like you are experiencing a hardware related problem.
Restoring a 3GS when you have an ipad baseband usually will still result in it booting fine; you may get a corrupted baseband but it still boots to the setup screen fine, in my experience.

Still the same issue except now I am also getting error (29) when trying to restore I am about at my wits end. This one has me so confused.

Defintely sounds hardware related. Sometimes a new battery fixes error 29, but if it doesn't you're prob SOL.

Ok so error 29 was fixed with a different computer and cable. Still having the SWOD repeatedly after every restore. I have tried multiple firmwares and still nothing I am about lost for words.

reflash iPad BB, use redsn0w and load into iTunes FW w/ proper BB, always in DFU mode

Ok so flash iPad BB, Then load "iPhone2,1_4.1_8B117_Restore.ipsw", Don't downgrade to the Unlock-able BB?

Not really understanding the redsn0w and load into iTunes FW w/ proper BB part?

Ok I finally got somewhere my springboard finally started working. After countless restores and hours of work Here is what I ended with: firmware 4.1 (8B117) and BB 5.16.08, but I think what finally done the trick is I gave in figuring it was a hardware issue so I took the phone apart and was putting it back together when I heard key presses so I commenced to taking it back apart and I cleaned all the connectors and everything really well put it back together and there it went loaded springboard, but now the phone randomly restarts  ,but at least I am one step closer to a fully functioning phone. So now I am gonna try and update to Firmware 6.1.
