iPhone 3GS - Tv out via Component cable; dosen't display UI/Games

Hey guys,

I just bought the component Tv out cable for my iphone I went into setting Ipod > Tv Out and adjusted them.

Now It only shows videos.

When the video stops the TV screen goes blank. I was under the impression that whatever you see on your iphone would be displayed on the TV

Is there any other setting on the iphone that I need to adjust to get the UI and games on TV or has apple disabled this feature?

That's how it's designed. You can only view videos.

You were under the wrong impression. Only videos played on your phone will be output to component video.
