iPhone iphone 3gs unlock question

Hi

I buy today a iphone 3gs jailbreak and unlock ver 4.1 . The guy told me before the phone was unlock it was with Carrier telus when i go in setting general it wrote telus(just to make sure it real) . My question is my compagny is telus right now and im not very happy with this jailbreak can i make a hard reset and restard to zero and just be locked whit telus. And i will be simple just to reset the phone thank and second question i see a app in the phone it call APN what is that ??? thank

Jailbreak and unlock are completely different.

If the phone was old by the same carrier you are using, unlock is not needed.

You can restore it to current firmware and remove jailbreak (as long as it does not have iPad baseband 6.15.xx)
