hi, I have a few digital videos from my camera that I want to sync on my iPhone 3Gs. They are in .mov format. So i use iSquint to convert to mp4. I am in i photo now and drag the compressed mp4 to an album labled "iphone video" here is where I keep my videos that i have taken with the iphone video camera. I had 4 that I took with the iphone video camera in that folder, and now I drag in the 5th (the one from my digital camera converted to mp4) I go to itunes to make sure that album is set to sync. I sync. BUT...now on my Iphone, i dont see that 5th video i moved over into the folder. How do i get videos from my digital camera onto my iphone 3gs? Do they have to go via Itunes "movies"? Why cant i keep them in the same place as my iphone videos? its kinda of a pain in the but...

any suggestions

The iPhone videos are probably only in your iPhone because you never deleted them. Once you delete videos from the iPhone, the only way to get them back into the iPhone is to drag them into iTunes, and the same is true of other videos/movies you want to sync.

ok....think I am getting it.... so, in theory, when I take a video on my iphone, it would be logical to move to itunes "movies" to be with all others? just seems odd that I cant bring a video back to my iphone, go into camera, and choose "video" out of video, camera, All

also don't forget to right click, the movie in iTunes and check what movie type it is. i.e. music video, movie, or tv show. if you aren't syncing music vids and that's what it labeled them as, then they won't show up. other that that I'm not sure why they wouldn't show.
