iPhone Iphone 3gs with IOS 4.3.3 baseband 5.16.02

Hello Guys,

I have Iphone 3GS version 4.3.3 (8J2) and baseband 05.16.02

would like to know how can i unlock this phone! its already jailbroken.

i searched this forum but did not find the solution.

Please help!

But anyway....you can buy an IMEI unlock from eBay from a seller called Unlock Fusion. That's if you're in the U.S. or Canada.

Yes I did. someone said try redsn0w 0.9.rc16 so i tired it and was keep getting unexpected error message.

redsn0w is a jailbrake/BB downgrade tool, it won't unlock anything

if your 3gs is old enough (please check carefully so not to brick it!) you can install the ipad BB and than downgrade to 05.13.04 BB and install ultrasn0w to unlock.

But i suggest you do as PsstGreek advised, get an IMEI unlcok for jus a couple of bucks

i would need downgrade my baseband from 05.16.02 to 05.13.04 to unlock it..
but question is how do i downgrade baseband?

Yes you'll loose GPS on 06.15.0 and you WILL get it back downgrading to 05.13.04.

Downgrade via redsn0w, iclarified has good tutorials, when you downgrade you won't loose GPS.

But it is easier to get the IMEI unlock for $10

i got the IMEI unlock from Unlock Fusion like you said and it worked
