iPhone IPhone 4 4.3.2 - Open for all Networks

Greetings,

just found an IPhone 4 in the family that found it's way from Russia or one of the east european countries to Dubai / UAE. Obviously it doesn't like the local sim cards and there comes the point where I need help.

Following Details:
IPhone 4 (GSM)
OS still 4.3.2 (was never upgraded higher)
IMEI 8997 1122 1268 1831 0452

As I don;t know the carrier I can't ask for official unlocking. I obviously also don't have any 5.1.1 blobs as the phone never came there. All tries with RedSn0w, Sn0wBreeze & TinyUmbrella failed so far due to a nice number of different errors trying to upgrade to 5.1.1 (all possible errors from 11 to 1015 and 3194).

It's running nicely as ipod, but can anyone help me to unlock for all sim cards?

What is the modem firmware (baseband)

If 1.59.xx you can unlock with Ultrasn0w
If 2.10-3.10 or 4.10 you can unlock with sim interposer

Or best unlock is an IMEI unlock

From what I've heard, you should never post the IMEI. Someone can take that information and use it on another device, blacklist it, etc.

Basically, keep it private!!!
