I found this app called SmartSync.

Basically it syncs your facebook with your contacts and adds information from their facebook (profile pictures --> contact pictures etc) to your contacts list.

I'm intrigued to try it out - however, if AFTER I've synced this and gotten all of this new information into my contacts list I don't like it and want to delete the app and want my contacts list to be as it was BEFORE I installed the app (ie. contact names and contact numbers - no pictures, no urls etc), it won't delete all of the extra information it added to my contacts and I will be left with all of that.

So I was wondering whether it is possible to back up my iphone and everything that is on there - apps, contacts, music, etc etc, THEN download SmartSync and sync to facebook. THEN if I dont' like the way it's added stuff to my contacts I can just revert to the back up?

How can I do this?

1. Make the back up
2. Rever to the back up
