My iPhone 4 (CDMA) on verizon has been dropping to 2G (1xRTT) allot lately...I think its weird because when he does it shows the connection to the 2G network as very strong (4-5 bars) just like the 3G (EvDO) network. Its not getting in the way right now as I am at home but when I am away I have to toggle airplane mode like 3 times to get it to switch...I just think its weird. Any advice? Yes I have the latest software update...Just want to make sure I don't have to take it in as I am still in the 30 day range. (Though I wouldn't mind trading for a white iPhone 4 :D :D).

My iphone 4 loses data after a connection to wlan. No airplane, nor data or auto 3g button can reactivate it. If i'm not on wireless i have to reboot to use the data services.

P.S. JB phone here

New york ny.

could it be VZW is slowly becoming affected by all the iphone data hogs?!

Total coincidence they mentioned no more unlimited plans a couple days ago.

Anyone NOT in NY ?
I'm curious too. But keep in mind NY is a BIG area....its not like NYC cell backhaul is even remotely connected to the small suburban town I live in.

I'm not sure what to think but honestly I don't have problems with data rates (other than slow on 2G), phone calls or txt messages so I don't think thats the case.
