Hi guys i have a little problem here tried to actually search for similar issue but nothing came up hence i'm creating the thread. So i changed the default font on my iPhone 4 with another compatible one and everything else seems to use the new font except the home screen app labels? any ideas what might be causing this?

FontSwap doesn't fully support iOS 4.xx yet

Provide the fonts names you used, with extensions. I'm guessing you installed something that needed to be a TTC so it wasn't substituted?

The font names used on the iPhone 4 are:

Helvetica.ttc
HelveticaNeue.ttc
LockClock.ttf
MarkerFeltThin.ttf
PhoneKeyCaps.ttf
PhonepadTwo.ttf

The font "Helvetica.ttc" is used for the app labels.

I think the app names use Helvetica.ttc so just place another copy of the HelveticaNeue.ttc you put in System\Library\Fonts\Cache and name it Helvetica.ttc and respring.

PS: Make sure you make a backup of the original

i tried renaming the helveticaneue. tcc to helvetica.ttc and put it in with backing up the old one and on respring it broke.. so else can i do to change the app labels ?

That won't work. Different style fonts are required in each package.

No. You need to use a font package intended to be "Helvetica.ttc" on an iPhone 4.

What font are you using? Is it intended for an iPhone 4??

im using neutraface 2.. and that would mean i need the helvetica.ttc cause i already have the helveticaneue.ttc for the same font.. it is iphone 4 compatible cause i can see it in the settings for example..
