iPhone iphone 4 how to restore ios

Hello

I recently bought on used iphone 4, it was passed to me working.
that same night, i turn it off, and... it never came back alive.

at first, it get stuck on apple logo.
then, after conected to my laptop, it enters restore mode.

when i get it, it had the ios 6.2.1 installed, whit cydia, but cydia had never runned, and the phone was never conected to internet with this ios version.
I have no shsh blobs....
try to restore via redsn0w and itunes and get 1rror 1601


How do i restore the ios??
can i dowgrade it to ios 5.1.1?how?

There are millions of threads of downgrading or restoring.

Please do a simple search next time when you have questions.

You can't downgrade without SHSH. You can only update to firmware there is currently signed by Apple (for now it's 6.1.3).

you can only restore to the version that you have shsh blobs for. if you don't have any valid (in the case of iOS 6) shsh blobs, you MUST restore to 6.1.3 and get a tethered/semi-tethered jailbreak. There are no exceptions to this

I dont mind having a tethered jailbreak, i just want to put the phone working.
I've tryied to restore to 6.1.3, using redsn0w, i still get the error1601, it any other way to pass this error?

Make sure your hosts file is not pointing to cydia when restoring 6.1.3

thanks 5kylar, i manage to do it, simply by changing the cable....

after that i could get the 6.1.3, now stuck in activation....

i can i jailbreak it?

redsnow can't do it.
invasi0n can't do it.

You can get a tethered jailbreak (only) by using Redsn0w and pointing it at the 6.0 IPSW.

You will have to do a Just Boot Tethered each time you turn off or reboot the iPhone.

I guess you really need us to hold your hands and guide you every tiny single steps? go to iclarified.com and look for guides.

If you know the iTunes error then you can easily search what that means and how to solve it.

If you want to JB 6.1.3 then you can easily search how that should be done.
