My iphone 4 5.0.1 jailbroken. Tried to restore it but got itunes error 1602. Tiny umbrella wouldnt save my shsh for some reason so cant use that to kick it out of recovery as it wont detect the phone. I know the error is from having cydia as the host but how can i change it to apple now. Cheers in advance for any help.

You have to edit your hosts file.
Oh, and SHSH is really only pertinent if you're using an older .IPSW. Just shift(or option)+restore and point it to a stock iOS 5.0.1.
Also, make sure your iPhone is in DFU mode, not recovery.

That will likely still result in 1600 or 21 error.
SHSH is still important to have for future use, make sure you have the latest TU to save your 5.01 and 5.1beta SHSH's
Connect phone go into DFU, open TU go to advanced Tab check and than UNcheck set host to cydia, exit TU.
with phone in DFU alt-restore ahould now work.
Replaced the hosts file as mentioned in this video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w55cThoVFQ0&feature=youtube_gdata_player) and worked like a charm. Cheers for the help.
