For those of you who bought your iP4 directly from Apple, who did you insure it with???????? Anyone got recommendations?:apple:

Any insurance offered by your carrier is going to be a rip-off - I believe Orange are charging £12 a month - which is just another way to make profit.

If you have your own place with contents insurance, check your policy and see if you're already covered. If you're not, speak to your insurance broker - you should be able to get cover for 'items taken out of the home' for a £3 or £4 a month.

Also look at your bank.
O2 were charging me £7.50 a month for iPhone insurance. I've just realised that if I upgrade my bank account then I can get phone insurance, AA breakdown cover and European travel insurance for £7.95 a month. That seems a much better deal to me. Especially as I also want AA cover.
