I know there have been many questions about whether to buy the 32 wifi or 32 3g etc, and i have searched the forums before posing this. I do think my question warrants a new post though, so please don't flame me if you disagree.
I have an iPhone 3g 8gb at the moment but unfortunately 3 weeks ago whilst running, i dropped it and the screen cracked. My insurance company have been very slow about it and now it looks as though the phone will be replaced with the 3gs.
I really want an ipad and don't agree with people suggesting the iphone 4 makes it redundant as they are completely different products. My options are:
1) Sell 3gs and buy iphone 4 for about £100 difference and buy the wifi 32gb. I hope to jailbreak the iphone 4 and by mywi, but not sure how effective this will be.
2) Keep 3gs and buy ipad 32 3g and get another data plan for the ipad.
My instinct is to go for option 1 but it depends on how good the mywi is, i read the recent posts on it, and opinion seems to be divided.
