I assume the answer is yes, but I wanted to confirm (as far as anyone can at this point) that I can just take out the AT&T microSIM in an iPhone 4 and pop it into an iPad 3g and get data access. I currently have an iPhone 3g and will be getting an iPhone 4. I am seriously considering purchasing an iPad, but I don't want to pay for a data plan for a second device. If I can use the same microSIM, then I'll spring for the 3g iPad. If not, I'll just save the extra $130 and get a WiFi-only model.

It's been stated on the Apple site and AT&T that you cannot swap the sim from the iPhone and use it in the iPad.

That means nothing.

U can cut your current 3G iPhone sim and place it into a microsim adapter and place it into ur 3G iPad and it'll work. Just need to change a setting on your iPad.

So with the microsim of the 4th gen iPhone, who knows but there's a good chance
