When i buy new iphone 4 in bestbuy there is no sim reject tool in a box ,?
can i take sim reject tool of 3g/3gs to open iphone 4 ?

thanks

I thought I read the sim removal tools were country dependent? Or maybe it's retailer dependent? I'm in Canada and I got one with my purchase from apple.ca and with my purchase from Telus.

In the U.S. at least we didn't get them with the iPhone 4. With the 3GS the sim ejector came with the iPhone.

Like when the 1st gen. iPhone came out the dock came with and I believe it also came with the 3G. When the 3GS came out Apple removed the dock from the packaging.

I believe that the dock only came with the original iphone. My 3g didnt come with one.

I stand corrected. Apple has done this with many of their other products, including the iPod.

Just the minor things, that now the consumer has to buy.

Okay, so it seems country dependent. Is it because theoretically you guys shouldn't need to be sim swapping because you only have one supported carrier for the iPhone and your phones are locked to that carrier? And since we can buy unlocked phones in Canada, we would theoretically have more of a need to be sim swapping? I can't really think of any other good reason to limit the tool in certain countries.

That could be one theory. Maybe Steve thought since we the 3GS owners were upgrading to the iPhone 4, why would we need the ejector since we already have one? Who knows. lol.

A paper clip works just fine:D

if you use a paper clip to reject a sim card,, what do you use then to eject it? lol

I didn't get a sim ejector tool when I bought my iP4 from the Brent Cross apple store on launch day in the UK... Was the only reason I upgraded.. To see the new hardware on the paper clip. I mean sim tool ;)

is it iphone 3g sim reject hold bigger than iphone 4 ?
it look like iphone 4 hole little smaller than 3g , so i don't know if i get sim reject of 3g use for 4 work or not

thanks
