I don't know if anyone on this forum has contacts with Gizmodo, but I was wondering if they could check the rear plating of the device to see if there there are any connectors to it that would make it seem like a track pad.
I remember a rumor/story a while back that Apple was working on a rear trackpad for the iPhone. This way if you were playing games etc, you could move your fingers on the back of the device like controls, so you weren't obstructing the screens view.
Also if anyone could find the story it might add credence to my theory.
