iPhone iPhone 4 - Restore and Redsn0w Problems

So starting from the beginning my iPhone 4 (running 3,1_6.1.3_10B329) lock button was broken but i still tried to jailbreak it was redsn0w. It was all fine until my phone was dumped into "soft DFU" mode and i was unable to get it out cause the lock button was broke.

So i recently replaced the lock button and tried to jailbeak through redsn0w again. This time, i plugged in but was already in the normal DFU mode. so i ran the jailbreak and it all went through on my Mac (OSX 10.8.4) and said "done" at the end but then on my phone it was a bunch of crazy writing and then "please wait".... and nothing happened.

Ive tried various firmwares and tried restoring through itunes and nothing is working... i cant get into my phone at all

any help or tips out there?? I'll take any help i can get, kinda disparate now

Do you need to preserve your BB for unlocking?
If so use sn0wbreeze to JB.

Else

Download the 6.1.3 IPSW from here:

http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=750

Put phone in DFU
Hit ALT-restore in itunes(mac) or SHIFT-restore(win) and restore to 6.1.3

Redsn0w should work and give you a tethered JB

Try a different computer and usb cable

What is my "BB" ? I actually tried to find sn0wbreeze for mac but couldn't find a download anywhere.

My phone is already in DFU mode at all times now, and redsn0w wouldn't accept the 6.1.3 firmware. unless i have an old redsn0w....

And itunes keeps saying that my iphone isnt a eligible for a build

BB=Baseband, the radio portion of the system.

You can find your BB in Settings/General/info
At the bottom is says modemversion, that is the BB.

Sn0wbreeze is only for windows, use a virtual windows machine on your mac to run it.
