right now i have a dumb-phone on a family plan on AT&T, and i would like to use my dad's upgrade to get the iphone 4 however I am available for the upgrade on 6-19-10, which is 4 days after the pre-order date. Obviously pre-orders will most likely be sold out by then. my question is can i still pre-order the device on the 15th knowing that when i activate the device on the 24th i will be eligible for the upgrade, or do i have to be eligible for the upgrade on the date of the pre-order?
