I've rebooted so many times and reinstalled my email account yet mail keeps crashing when sending an email.

Twitter crashes often as well.

Anyone else experiencing this with a brand new phone?... Restoring now as new...

That's definitely weird. I had that happen to me once, where all the apps on my iPhone crashed as soon as I opened them. The problem was that somehow, it had fooled itself into thinking that it wasn't authorized to run the apps. A simple update/installation of a new app fixed the problem once I entered my user/password in App Store.

Not sure if that's where your problem is. If that doesn't solve it, just call Apple Support... you get 90 days call support free!

This has been happening to me this evening. The phone was great before - but every app crashes. Mail, maps, even music (about once every 3-5 minutes). I have no idea what is going on - I even turned the iPhone 4S off and let it sit for a while - but it had the same problems. Closed every app, same problems.

The iPhone is almost unusable. I can't even get a search in maps before it crashes.

Set up an appointment or try and get it fixed? It sounds like you have an actual problem, and not just a software bug.

Try restoring the phone and starting over? Of course, take the necessary precautions before doing anything.

I'm currently restoring - but my phone is having problems restoring from iCloud (it can't seem to load apps). I'm on my second try to restore right now.

Just to give you an idea of the problem - I have a 64 gigabyte phone and was informed that I had run out of space this morning (!). I had 10 gigabytes free when I went to bed. I'm pretty sure something is pretty seriously wrong with my phone. I was in love with this thing earlier in the week, but right now I'm longing for the software stability of my 2 year old android phone.

---UPDATE
First - syncing apps from iTunes failed the first time. Each app would load but not install. Once the sync was finished the iPhone seems to have just dumped all the data. A second sync seems to be working (at least keynote installed) Also - the iPhone is unable to load any music from iCloud - and loves to send a push error for every song it can't download.
