Thanks for reading.

The title says it all really. I have an iPhone 4S with the WiFi broken. It broke a few months ago and I got the WiFi component replaced but now it's broken again. The fact that it's broken again makes me think something else is causing it to break. Does anyone know how this can be fixed permanently? I don't want to get the component replaced again if it will just break again.

Any help would be great!

iPhone 4S - broken WiFi (greyed out)

Try this:

This problem seems to be related to thermal shock—the problem may be temporarily fixed by simply putting the phone in the refrigerator for 15 minutes, or under a lamp for 30 minutes.

Assuming of course you've tried everything else, like hard reset, reset network settings, all the way down to restoring your phone.
