Hi,

I've got an iPhone 4S. When I connect it to the car via the auxillary input and music (or any sound) is playing, it makes this high pitch... whine. It's quite annoying and I can't use it. The sound doesn't change at all regardless of whether the car is moving or not, however it stops once sound isn't played for 5-6 seconds.

My dad's 5 works perfectly fine without the issue.

I'm wondering what the problem might be? I'm considering getting a 3.5mm ground loop isolator, and seeing if maybe it's a grounding issue?

Does anyone have experience with this? Or know of any solutions?
