I have a serious problem, i have replaced the screen of an iPhone 4s with iOs 7 and it shows nothing. The phone beeps constantly. Have tried many times and the fact is that the original screen is working properly.

Any ideas ?

Thanks in advance.

It could be that the new screen either isn't a genuine panel (incompatible) or it's not hooked up properly? Or damaged? I assume the phone beeps as a warning that some hardware component has failed (in this case, the screen)?

Hope I was able to help!

If you're phone is on, but the screen is nothing there can be 2 different issues.

1) You could have received a defective screen.
2) You could have damaged/ torn the LCD flex cable causing the screen to stay black.
3) Many times, the cable is not properly seated, but you said you covered that, so your issue is either #1 or #2.

The lock button will not affect whether the screen works or not.

Thanks for your replies

My Problem here is that the screens are working properly on other phones and the only difference seems to be the Operating System. Screens work on iOs6 but doesnt on iOs 7.? ??

I had this problem. Put the old screen back and the same. It was because I hadn't disconnected the battery. Disconnect battery to hard reboot leave 30 seconds and reconnect and all worked fine for me.

Always ensure the connectors are on too as mine weren't the first time.
