IPhone 4s shows charging flan but

although the charging flash is there along with charging sound , no power gets to the new battery , I have placed it in a fully working charging case , tried new battery and every obvious thing else , initially it had a no wifi issue which I did a temporary fix by heating up the phone but this none charging issue appeared , any advice feedback please
