Hi,

We are having a problem and I'd need Your advice.
How can we transfer all iphone 4s data to new iphone 12mini if:

- old macbook we own does not have usb-c port so itunes backup is not possible
- new macbook pro m1 14` we own does not have older usb port, but even when connected via hub, won't help much as we cannot instal itunes on this computer
- migrating data when iphones are next to each other won't work - probably due to old iphone 4s system
- icloud data is limited to 5gb so it's not possible to make a full backup of the old iphone...

what do I do then?

thank

Back up your iPhone 4S to the iCloud and restore from that to your new phone. Pretty sure my iPhone 4S did include iCloud backup so yours should too.
Alternatively, plug your old iPhone into your old computer, pull everything off that way (photos/music/whatever you want to rescue) and use a memory stick to move it all over to your new computer.

Even though you may only have 5GB iCloud storage, apple allows using much more of that to do backup and restores. As much as you need. Eventually it’ll get erased if you’re way over your allotment

The place where I'm at has terrible wifi so icloud backup will take ages. What if I copy backup folder from the itunes and move it to Finder onto new mac so I can restore data onto new iphone ? Can it work?

Really? They sure didn't allow iCloud backups for our iPhones when we had only a 5 GB allowance. I had to increase iCloud storage to 50 GB before iCloud backups would work. Did something change?
