Your only use for it will be as an iPod Touch I'm afraid if it's been blacklisted, no legitimate way round that. No one will help you with any illegitimate way either on this forum.

iPhone 4s unactivated blacklisted, can it be unlocked?

Let me see an AT&T foon in ireland shows up as blacklisted....

Sounds more like stolen phone, better bring it to the police

Enough of the pep talks. I came here to get it working not for a lecture on my conscience. Now either post something relevent or get out.

We can't/won't help someone with a stolen device. That said, it's worthless once it's flagged by AT&T, you might as well turn it in.

Can you guys recommend any other sites that are more suited for my situation then? (Discussion boards)

Even if you went to the most crooked forum on the internet, once a phone is blacklisted there's no way to remove it from the list. It is forever blacklisted.

And insulting/moaning about being told to do the right thing is even less likely to get you any help ;)

If there were sites that could help people would be even less likely to post them now (not that they would do in the first place!)

Just to confirm, blacklisted phones can't be unlocked?
No. It's either a paperweight, or an iPod touch now. Best to turn it in to the police. If it's not claimed, I assume it would become yours after a month. Not sure how it works in Ireland.

Its unactivated though still locked to the american network. Is it still possible?

No. It’s blacklisted. You cannot un blacklist it unless you are the carrier and you are not. And ATT is the only one that can unlock it as well - something that they will not do to an blacklisted phone.

I didn't ask you?

This community does not condone criminal activity and willful posession of stolen property is against the law. But don't worry, the NSA will never catch up with your IP, slick.

This community does not condone criminal activity. We only allow government branches such as the NSA to illegally spy on its own citizens and elected leaders who do what corporations want instead of what the people want. Therefore, we must treat our fellow people like crap and allow the NSA and other organizations to continue doing what they are doing.

Nice double standard.

Try to keep a united front, that's all. New member signs up to macrumors after "finding" an iPhone which they took the original sim and "tore in half" trolling jb forums to unlock and use said found property of another person, One post from being permabanned, imo.
