iPhone 5 Battery Replacement Issue

Hey Guys,

So I replaced the battery and when I turn on the phone it shows a empty battery and if I plug the power cable in it shows the empty battery and charging cable with the lightening bolt but it would flicker and the screen would go blank. Then I would press the power button and it would show a empty battery and when I unplug the cable it would show a empty battery with the power cable and lightening bolt. Does anybody know what is going?

The battery you put in is either faulty or completely flat. Leave it plugged in overnight if you still get no luck then send it back. Obviously I'm assuming you've cgecked it's connected correctly
