iPhone 5 Battery

My old phone's battery doesn't seem to work. It dies when it says 46% or 25%. It just doesn't accurately show it. Does anyone know why it does this?

Hello Saphiria, how long have you been using your iphone 5? Before sending it for a replacement, try a battery calibration first. Buying a battery replacement online and have someone else to repair for you would cost fewer, here are the sources if you need.
