My daughters iPhone 5 out of the blue froze and now just does the Apple logo reboot loop.
Hard resetting does nothing.
Plugging into power results in the same boot loop but the logo goes blue and fades out, this repeats over and over until unplugged.
When unplugged it stops after a few loops.
Can kind of put it into Recovery mode when plugged into the iMac, iTunes says it is but nothing at all on the iPhone screen.
Allows me to try to restore but then when 'waiting for iPhone' the phone goes into the boot loop/blue fade thing forever.
Tried the reset with volume up also. No joy.
Never been opened or messed with.
Any ideas?
Was thinking maybe faulty battery and might get a kit off eBay and try that.
Out of warranty repair by Apple is £206, not willing to pay that on an older phone.
