iPhone 5 Boot Loop

My iPhone 5 is stuck in a boot loop. I have tried a lot of things already, which includes putting the iPhone into DFU mode multiple times and letting it charge from my laptop for a few hours, but to no avail. Recovery mode hasn't been much help either. I don't want to use paid software to get it out of the boot loop. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Have you tried dfu mode on windows as well as Mac? Seems strange but I have had that fix similar issues in the past.

Yes, I have tried DFU mode on both. I have no clue what to do.

You could try removing the battery and plugging it back in after 5 min. Sounds like it could be a hardware problem though.

I haven't removed an iPhone battery before.
