Hi all. Been a while since I jailbreak any Iphones, my question is can I still jailbreak my phone now with being on IOS 6.1.4. I did not update to IOS 7 because I did not like it. I searched around and could not find a answer and Thanks in advance.

did you update it to 6.1.4 over the air?

p0sixspwn can jailbreak 6.1.4 if you did not get to 6.1.4 over the air

I don't exactly remember. Does it matter? If I try to jailbreak it with p0sixspwn will it brick if fail?

Not quite sure if it does but most jailbreaks require it not to be updated OTA. Worst case scenario would require you to update to iOS 7 if it failed. Best case would be nothing happens if it failed

Yes. Jail breaking an OTA update can permanently brick phone.

Really? Haven't heard of anyone have that happen. It usually fails and can get stuck in boot loops and things like that, but nothing that a DFU mode restore won't fix (other than updating to 7.1)

Crikey! All right, to be fair, I knew of one person that this happened to. I wasn't holding the phone in my hands but gave instructions about DFU mode and apparently it never got out of the loop. Maybe he wasn't following the DFU instructions properly.
