I have a few questions about jailbreaking options for my iPhone 5S/iPhone 5C.

​1. Is there an untethered IOS 7.1.1 jailbreak for the iPhone 5S/iPhone 5C?

2. Is there a tethered/semitethered IOS 7.1.1 jailbreak for the iPhone 5S/iPhone 5C?

3. Can I downgrade my IOS 7.1.1 to IOS 7.0.6/7.0.4 on an iPhone 5S/iPhone 5C to install jailbreak?

4. Will there be an IOS 8 jailbreak? If so, when will IOS 8 be released?

5. Are there any other options for me?

For anyone who takes the time to answer these for me, thank you so much!

Discover an exploit, create a jailbreak, jailbreak your phone, share with the rst of us

Buy a phone that is still on 7.0 or older

Buy a phone with an A4 chip

Live without a jailbreak

Buy a Jitterbug and never worry about needing/wanting to jailbreak a phone again

:D Yeah I think I'll just get a Jitterbug.

Well I think I'll just create my own jailbreak brb guys.

I'll tell you when I'm done.

Sorry I'm not too helpful tonight. I'd love to see a job for iOS 7.1 as well though. I upgraded my ipad because of the issues with Safari. And I wouldn't mind being able to upgrade my phone to 7.1 and jailbreak it either. There's always talk of a jb, but for some reason with this one I feel like we may actually see one before too long. Maybe wishful thinking though, we will have to wait and see.

Hey, from what I've seen on the internet, no one knows what to do and people stuck with IOS 7.1 are pretty much screwed.

I will start another thread about fake signing IOS 7.0.6.

Since everyone is saying that downgrade is impossible because IOS 7.0.6 is no longer signed by Apple, maybe there is a hack or I could sign the code myself or something great.

So, yeah. Much more research is to be done.

Good luck. I myself have never understood how Apple can make it so nobody can downgrade like that. Seems like it would be something simple. I guess Apple is just too good:).

I am in a love-hate relationship with Apple right now.

But you can't blame Apple for trying to stop hackers from publicly exposing faults in their software.

But you can't blame the hackers for trying to unlock features in the highly-restricted operating systems that Apple creates.
