My iPhone 5 only rings for contacts with custom ring tones and there is no ring for all others who have the default ring tone. I would really appreciate if someone could tell me what is going on. Thanks mates!

Sounds like you are in Do Not Disturb mode and are only allowing your contacts to ring your phone. Look for the half moon symbol on the top right of your phone and check those settings.
