Hi guys.
So I've had the iPhone 5 since released. I like it but it has become boring fast. I have been hearing great things about the note 2. I love the size since I no longer have a tablet. I currently have a warranty with future shop and I am able to switch my phone at any time.

My question is whether or not it is worth the switch. Also is there still a lag with the note 2? I had the S3 and was disappointed with the lag and the fact that applications were constantly crashing. Your input would be greatly appreciated.

For me personally it was well worth it to switch. I haven't had any issues at all with lag or apps crashing. It's the only android I've had where I can keep everything enabled including a live wallpaper and not have to worry at all about battery life. If you like the size of it then I'd say go for it, that's the issue most people have with the phone. Good luck!

I have the iPhone 5 and now a note 2 and sorry the note 2 blows the iPhone away. You won't be disappointed.

You really shouldn't have had lag on the S3, unless something was terribly wrong. There really wasn't ever lag with the Note 2 either. It's smooth right out of the box. Checking out a few video reviews on the phone on YouTube will tell you this.
It's definitely worth the switch if you have absolutely no problem with the size, though you become used to it after a while. If the return policy allows you to return the Note 2 as well, I'd definitely try it out for a week or so and decide then.

The Lag disappeared after Jelly Bean, pure Butter. The Note 2 is THE best Super Phone today and the Battery Life is unbelievable, worth upgrading.

OP, that's exactly how I felt when I got the iPhone 5 both Design & OS is bland & boring. Interestingly enough it's how I felt when I bought my bought my 4th BlackBerry, Torch 9800. I also sold it after just two weeks. Apple is starting to repeat RIM's mistakes, they don't want to listen and think they know what's best for their customers.

It's time to shake things up.
