iphone 5 vs htc one x?

my One X is gorgeous i mean the best screen and camera i have ever seen. my dad wants to trade me his iphone 5 for this old blackberry i have haha who knows. anyway i just want to know if it is an upgrade for me since i have osmeone trying to buy my HTC. i take a lot of pictures and am worried that the iphone 5 camera isnt as good. i know the battery life will be better so the iphone wins in that area.

the next thing is android jellybean vs ios6 im just so used to widgets and having stuff on a desktop vs having to open every app to view quick info. so thats what i want to know if you guys would trade it up. i think the htc one x has more resolution which is important for me reading articles and forums. help me decide. thanks all

quick background about me : never liked apple never had one of their products until a macbook pro this year. so i guess the iphone would play nice with photosteam i cloud, ect with my macbook right ? ugh i never wanted to be an apple guy haha but as i get more busy in life these products just save you time/headaches

it really depends on personal preference. Where did you hear the iPhone 5 camera isnt good? The camera is amazing. when you take pictures they will be automatically uploaded to iPhoto on your mac.

Why don't you do the trade for your BB since the iPhone is much better then that and use it for awhile and make your decision after using it.

They both have their benefits, so it really depends on personal preference. iOS is a more stable OS so that would be a major plus but you will also lose the widgets. So either trade your blackberry for it and try it out for yourself or go to apple or best buy and test it out.

Take the iPhone 5, it is a better phone overall plus the camera is amongst the best on the market.

One of my friends has the htc one x and although it has a beautiful big screen, it has a buggy software and you will suffer from lags.

Seriously, my Galaxy S2 with custom (4.1.2) jelly bean ROM is faster than the HTC one X (ice cream sandwich).

On the other hand, there's the HTC one x +, which is an upgraded version of the one x, however, it is still not there... the same hardware just clocked higher.

If you're happy with the OneX you arn't really gonna gain anything by moving to the iPhone5, the camera is quite similar and so is the screen quality you might actually be slightly annoyed by the long thin screen though coming from a OneX. I've tried out the leaks of JB on my OneX when i owned one and it is super smooth so your phone will get better in terms of smoothness when it arrives.

I have an iPhone 4S & iPhone 5. In addition one of my Androids is the HTC One X. The cameras produce the same results. Yet the Android OS is much more flexible & fun. There's so much more you can do with it.

I wish I could say that about Apple but they've fallen behind. Hopefully in the next year of two Apple will advance.

Trade with your dad and play with both phones. You'll have no problem selling the iPhone 5 if you don't like it.

now heres the thing. he just got it 2 weeks ago from a contract update. if im trying to use it on straight talk will it not be unlocked ? i was using my straight talk service with the htc one x and it was working perfectly if i just cut the micro sim to nano it should work right or are iphones different ?

the one x is no slouch guys i had mine so modded it was doing things your phones wont be able to do for a couple of years haha. basically i just need to know if the iphone 5 will be able to take pics as good as this one taking with my one x

I'd say keep your One X, merely because provided it is in good condition, you'd be able to sell the iPhone for more than you would the One X. That, and you won't be losing out in terms of features - all things considered they are as good as each other, just in different ways.

Worth pointing out that if you were to swap for the iPhone you'd probably find the screen is too small. The biggest issue with the iPhone display is width, not height, and it really does making reading web content a lot more difficult.

I believe that the iPhone 5 will be able to take as good as yours, I took these with a iPhone 4S (Un modded) and from what I have heard the 5 has a better camera although I never used it when I had my iPhone 5.

awsome. i decided to go for it and just use it until the next big android thing. this phone will still be worth 600 bucks next year while my htc won't. im going to miss a lot of android things this year but at least the apps will be better quality. altho i saw that some apps in the iphone 5 are not optimized and have 2 black bars on the top and bottom. wtf ? lol nice one devs
