So my uncle gave me an iPhone 5 thats unlocked. But I do not know what service it is on besides T-Mobile. Is there a way I can find out in settings?
On the status bar it says "No Sim" so my guess is AT&T?

In About it says Carrier 13.0

Thank you for the link. When I typed in the model # it gave my info and said this.

You device is sim locked.
USA(AT&T, Verizon, Sprint).

What does that mean?

I dont get it.
Do you understand what an unlocked phone is?
It will work with any gsm carrier.

So in other words it will work with any gsm sim in the US like AT&T, tmobile, straight talk, redpocket, h2O etc..
Not on verizon or Sprint.
