iPhone 5 won't turn on, home button broken, stuck in apple screen of death

Help please! I have searched google and these forums and can't find anything. I have an ATT iPhone 5. The apple logo appears on the screen and then goes away. If I hold the power button it comes back on but goes off after a few seconds. If I plug in into my Macbook the same thing happens - the apple logo appears then the screen goes black. It had a full charge before this happened. My home button broke last week and I was using adaptive touch to try and get me until next week when the 7's come out so I'm not able to do the home button power button trick. Is there anything I can do? I just needed it to last one more week.

Thanks..unfortunately no apple store here. I tried the apple bar at Best Buy and they were not able to help. I'm going to try and chat with them this evening since I don't have a way to call currently.

You don't notice anything that might indicate an expanding battery, do you?
