Hi, my brother bought me iPhone 5s 16GB like a birthday present but I already running out of space, only 2GB left. Can you give me some suggestions how I can free up some space on my device without tips like remove photos (already did that same with delete unused apps).

Hmm, it's a bit of a toughy to say as there are lots of things that can eat up storage!

I'd start by going to Settings>General>Storage & iCloud Usage>Manage Storage. That should give you an immediate idea of what's really taking up the space. If you have a lot of storage used from Messages, you can just simply delete conversations. Quite often that really does help.

How's your music collection? If you use Spotify/Apple Music, it'd free up some space to stream your music rather than keep them stored locally. Have a sift through the photos too, see if there's anything that you can delete.

You can now remove stock apps if that helps. But beyond removing apps you don't need, there's not much you can do.

Please feel free to quote/reply to this if you have any queries. If you could post a screenshot of the storage usage, that'd be great too!

Best wishes. :)

Humm, there wouldn't be a way for offline listening without downloading. Offline listening is only available with Premium as well.

Did you have an opportunity to check what's using up your data in 'Manage Storage'? Would it be possible to upload a screenshot for our consideration? It should elucidate what's hungry for your free space!

Stock apps can't be removed - Just hidden.

Maybe you should delete them so you could actually learn something at school. Then you may get a good job, and can buy a new phone with more space yourself.

I'm not playing when lesson is going, only at break. And at city where I live for boy like me, it's pretty hard to get money at my age (13), even who is adult already just goes to England or something because they can't find a job.

Did we wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, T'hain? :)

Well the main thing is you still have a bit of space free, so there shouldn't be a need for immediate concern. Games are quite heavy on storage so unfortunately it just comes with the territory of the 16GB model. Not much you can do beyond what you've already done.

Don't mind T'hain, he's always been a little grumpy! He doesn't mean any harm, though.

I know he's not very seriuos, but I hate people who doesn't know the reality of my life and tell me things like that :( But like, is it possible to delete data of the apps without deleting the app itself?

Sadly not, sorry!

And don't be glum! We envy your youth, which can sometimes lead to bitter comments. :D
If I jailbreak my device, will it give me more options to free up space or not? I know that jailbreaking isn't legal and it's not yet available for iOS 10, but I want to know anyways.

Sadly not. 16GB really isn't a lot these days. No way around that I'm afraid.

Nah. But a statement like that just rings my bells. When I teach at the university, cell phones are one of the most damned annoyances when it comes to focused students, and I hear the its even worse at lower levels from my girlfriend who is a high school teacher.
